These run a bit small, but are otherwise perfect! I am normally a Medium in bike shorts, but the Large in this brand was my perfect fit. That may be because they sit a little lower on the waist than a lot of the other shorts I have tried, and I have a pretty big taper from waist to hip. I absolutely adore so many things about these shorts:1: The fact that the waist band is a flexible panel so it moves with you rather than digging into your abdomen while you're leaning forward trying to bike. This also lends to a flattering look, which is a bonus.2: The fact that the legs are bit shorter than usual, and the leg bands are appropriately sized for muscular thighs so they don't dig in and cause uncomfortable rubbing and pinching. I am a multi-sport endurance athlete and I have had this problem with every pair of shorts before these ones.3: The padding is placed perfectly and manages to work incredibly well without being needlessly thick and/or bulky. I rode a century in these recently and was more comfortable than I've ever been on that distance.4: The material is very breathable. I tend to overheat, and I managed to wear these in high 90s Texas Heat without much of an issue.5. These shorts are super cute! They just plain look nice, which feels good. The shorts fit well but seem to run a little small. I am 5'6" 120lbs and ordered the medium. The waist band is a little snug and not stretchy and forgiving. The length is perfect; not too long, not too short and look great on. The padding did not provide as much comfort on a long ride as I had hoped. I did a 35 mile ride yesterday and even by mile 15-20 I was in major discomfort. For short rides these might be ok. On my longish torso these are low to mid-rise which is fine when you are bent at the waist riding but not as great for walking around.Fabric is super comfortable against skin. The padding does go flat sooner than my Bontrager bike shorts. Aesthetically they are nice looking shorts, the padding is not super obvious. The length is perfect, enough to have a decently placed tan line. The grippy material around the leg holes doesn't hold super tight, but they don't ride up. Overall happy with the product. These shorts are super comfortable. I love the grips at the bottom of each leg hole that prevent the shorts from riding up. I feel like there could be a little more padding for mountain biking, but I've never owned padded bike shorts before (I'm new to mountain biking) so I have nothing else to compare to.These are great bike shorts. Nicely padded, perfect for Spin classes or mountain biking. They fit very well. The cut is high in the back and lower in the front, as they should be.Nice grip on the thighs, no sliding around or friction. These made me very happy. I hate the look of bike shorts, but they are a necessity for comfort! The pads aren't horrible looking and the shorter inseam is more fashionable than the standard length.I'll be ordering more of these.Awesome shorts. I'm a size 16 women's and I was so pleased that these bike shorts fit so well. The fabric grips on to the seat so there isn't any sliding around. The padding is great and lessens the pressure of a long saddle ride. (I ride about and hour and forty minutes!)The leg grips are small dots of that rubberized stuff, not a strip of it so it doesn't ride up and also does not rash.Couldn't be happier!?These shorts live up to my expectations. All the reviews I read said these shorts don't hold you in like the more expensive compression shorts do. That is correct. If you're concerned about how you look in bike shorts, these aren't flattering. Having said that, you get what you pay for. They don't ride up. They stay in place in the waistband. They're comfortable and they don't go down to your knees, which I find annoying with other shorts. The cushion is just about right and it doesn't move around. Overall I liked the first pair enough to buy another.I like my other biking shorts more. There are a few things that I am not happy about with this product.1. the padding is only as big as a bike seat, my other shorts have padding that goes up in the groin area- I like that more because on my long rides I don't feel the seat as much especially if I move around.2. At the waist part it alway rolls- I am getting annoyed iwth it. I feel like my shorts are coming off.
